About Nrityanjali Dance Company (NDC)
Nrityanjali Dance Company (NDC) was formed in 2010 by Smt. Shanthi Ashok, with a vision to provide advanced training and opportunities for its gifted student members by performing in various esteemed venues. NDC is a distinguished member of the Virginia Dance Coalition and has participated in the annual Gala for over nine years.
In September 2013, Nrityanjali Dance Company successfully organized a production aimed at benefitting underprivileged children worldwide. In 2015, Nrityanjali staged their second charity event to further benefit this non-profit organization, gaining much success. These initiatives allow the company and its students to give back to the community through the medium of dance.
Over the years, Nrityanjali Dance Company has showcased a variety of productions including Adi Shankaracharya’s Shanmatham, Myriad of Folklore, Ekaanki, Vyaktitva, Myriad of Folklore II and Neela Megha Shyama Krishna.
